For several years, I had a regular column in The Lima News, the local newspaper. I don’t have a complete portfolio of all the columns I wrote, but many of them are collected under the Portfolio page at The Wave Returns. There are a few other random pieces I’ve written there, too.
Second grade at Franklin Elementary School in Van Wert, Ohio. I’m the third from the right in the first row. I clearly remember that dress; even with the special slip my mom made for it, the dress was itchy. Wool and I don’t get along. I’m evidently a delicate flower.
